Faux boy band “Wrong Direction” joined the chorus of those calling for Gov. Mitt Romney to release more than two years of tax returns this week in a music video called “Disclosure.” The five scantily-clad singers (in reality, they’re underwear models) demand that the presumptive presidential nominee reveal what he’s “hiding down below” — his financial assets, that is.
Donning Speedos and equipped with dance moves that gyrate to the tune of One Direction’s “What Makes You Beautiful,” the video—paid for by a super PAC called Full Frontal Freedom—makes it difficult to resist the head bopping sure to result from watching the parody regardless of whether you’re a Romney supporter. The super PAC’s YouTube page says it is a “coalition of independent artists and media folks using our creativity to promote civic engagement.”
Here’s the clutch hook:
“Romney, you lie to voters like nobody else
Your super PAC’s giant size gets Dems overwhelmed
When you smile at your wealth, it ain’t hard to tell.
You oughta show, oh-oh, what you’re hiding down below.”
